1. Handling and Maintenance
Handle the AirPods and the charging case with care. They contain sensitive electronic components, including batteries, and can be damaged, impair function, or cause injury if dropped, burned, punctured, crushed, disassembled, or exposed to excessive heat or liquid.

Do not use damaged AirPods or a damaged charging case.

Cleaning: Clean the AirPods regularly. Performance and features such as Active Noise Cancellation may be affected if dirt or earwax accumulates. If the problem persists, consult a physician.

Choking Hazard: The AirPods, the charging case, and small parts included with the AirPods may present a choking hazard or cause other injury to small children. Keep them away from small children.

Lanyard Warning: If you use the charging case with a lanyard or other strap, ensure the strap does not get caught in other objects.

2. Battery and Charging
Battery: The batteries in the AirPods and the charging case should only be repaired by a trained technician to avoid battery damage, which could cause overheating, fire, or injury. Do not attempt to replace the batteries in the AirPods or the charging case yourself – you could damage the batteries, which could result in overheating and injury.

Charging: Charge the charging case with the charging cable and a power adapter or a computer. Only use a power adapter for charging that complies with applicable national regulations and international and regional safety standards. Other power adapters may not meet applicable safety standards, and charging with such adapters could pose a risk of death or injury.

Damaged Cables or Chargers: Using damaged cables or chargers, or charging when moisture is present, can cause fire, electric shock, injury, or damage to the AirPods, the charging case, or other property.

Wireless Charging: When using a wireless charger, avoid placing foreign metallic objects on the charger (for example, keys, coins, batteries, or jewelry), as they may become warm or interfere with charging.

Prolonged Heat Exposure: Avoid prolonged skin contact with the device, its power adapter, the charging cable and connector, or a wireless charger when connected to a power source, as this may cause discomfort or injury. For example, do not sit or sleep on the device, the charging cable, the connector, the power adapter, or the wireless charger, and do not place them under a blanket, pillow, or your body. Use special caution if you have a physical condition that affects your ability to detect heat against the body.

3. Health and Safety
Hearing Damage: Listening to audio at high volumes can permanently damage your hearing. Background noise, as well as continued exposure to high volume levels, can make sounds seem quieter than they actually are. Check the volume after inserting the AirPods into your ears and before playing audio. Environment: Using AirPods can distract you in some situations or impair your perception of your surroundings. Features such as Active Noise Cancellation can block external sounds or reduce background noise. Always stay aware of your surroundings during use. Follow applicable laws and regulations regarding the use of headphones and earphones while operating a moving vehicle or bicycle, heavy machinery, or in other situations requiring attention for safety. For example, using AirPods while operating a vehicle is not recommended and is illegal in some areas. If you find that certain AirPods features are disruptive or distracting during an activity that requires your full attention, discontinue the use of those features.

Medical Devices: The AirPods and the charging case contain magnets as well as components and/or radios that may interfere with medical devices. Consult your physician and the manufacturer of your medical device for information regarding compatibility.

Not a Medical Device: The AirPods and the heart rate sensor are not medical devices.

4. Repair and Disposal
Repair: The batteries in the AirPods and the charging case should only be repaired by a trained technician to avoid battery damage, which could cause overheating, fire, or injury.

Disposal: Batteries should be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste in accordance with local environmental laws and guidelines. When this product reaches its end of life, take it to a collection point designated by local authorities.
