Battery and Charging Instructions:
The glasses and charging case contain permanently installed lithium-ion batteries that are not user-replaceable. Do not expose the devices to extreme temperatures (above 45°C), do not open them, do not puncture them, and do not throw them into fire – risk of fire and explosion. If visible damage occurs (swelling, cracks, fluid leakage), stop using immediately. Only use the included charging case and an undamaged USB-C cable. Charge the glasses exclusively in the charging case. The case is charged via USB-C (power adapter not included). Do not charge near flammable materials.

Health and Usage Warnings:

Seizures: Approximately 1 in 4,000 people may experience seizures or severe dizziness triggered by flashing lights (e.g., camera flash or displays). Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if you experience symptoms.

Limited Perception: Do not wear the glasses during activities that require your full attention (driving, cycling, operating machinery, railroad crossings). The open speakers can mask ambient noises.

Magnets / Medical Implants: The glasses contain magnets that can interfere with the operation of pacemakers, defibrillators, insulin pumps, or other implanted medical devices. Maintain a safety distance of at least 15 cm. If in doubt, consult your doctor or the manufacturer of your implant.

Hearing Protection: The glasses are not certified hearing protection. Avoid excessively loud playback to prevent hearing damage.

Hygiene, Cleaning, and Repair:
Clean the lenses and frame only with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use liquids, sprays, abrasive cleaners, or lens cleaners that are not explicitly approved for coated spectacle lenses. Never immerse the glasses in water or other liquids. Do not open either the glasses or the charging case – the device contains no user-serviceable parts. Repairs may only be carried out by authorized specialist personnel. Unauthorized repairs or opening will void the warranty and can lead to safety risks (electric shock, fire).

Software and Data Protection:
Always keep the glasses updated via the Meta View app to close security vulnerabilities. The integrated LED illuminates when the camera or microphone is active. Warranty:
A 24-month manufacturer's warranty applies. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

Disposal (WEEE & Battery Law):
Waste electrical and electronic equipment and the batteries they contain must not be disposed of in household waste (symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin). At the end of their lifespan, return the glasses and charging case to a municipal collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment. The permanently installed lithium-ion batteries will be professionally removed and recycled there.
