Battery and Charging Instructions:
The headset contains a permanently installed lithium-ion battery (2,600 mAh) that is not user-replaceable. Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures (above 45 °C), do not open it, do not puncture it, and do not dispose of it in fire – risk of fire and explosion. If visible damage occurs (swelling, cracks, fluid leakage), discontinue use immediately. Use only the supplied USB-C cable and a suitable power adapter (not included). Do not charge the device near flammable materials.

Health and Usage Warnings:

Hearing Protection: High volume over extended periods can damage hearing. Start with low volume and increase gradually. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is not certified hearing protection.

Restricted Awareness: Active Noise Cancellation can significantly reduce ambient noise. Do not wear the headphones in traffic (driving, cycling, railway crossings) or when operating machinery if your full attention is required. Transparency mode can help you perceive your surroundings – but it does not replace your natural attention.

Air Purification (Visor): The detachable visor filters particles from ambient air and is ideal for daily commutes or travel. However, it is not certified respiratory protection (like FFP masks) and does not replace medical protective equipment in high-risk environments.

Magnets / Medical Implants: The headset contains magnets that can interfere with the operation of pacemakers, defibrillators, insulin pumps, or other implanted medical devices. Maintain a safety distance of at least 15 cm. If in doubt, consult your doctor or the manufacturer of your implant.

Hygiene, Cleaning, and Repair:

Cleaning: Clean the earcups, headband, and visor only with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use liquids, sprays, abrasive cleaners, or lens cleaners. The supplied visor cleaning brush is suitable for the filters.

Filter Replacement: The electrostatic activated carbon filters must be replaced regularly according to the app notification. Replacement filters are available from Dyson. Refer to the filter replacement instructions.

Repair: Do not open the device – it contains no user-serviceable parts. Repairs must only be performed by authorized specialists. Unauthorized repairs or opening will void the warranty and can lead to safety risks (electric shock, fire).

Warranty:
A 24-month manufacturer's warranty applies. Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.

Software and Data Protection:
Keep the headset updated via the MyDyson™ app to close security vulnerabilities. The app collects air quality data and usage information. For information on data processing, please refer to Dyson's privacy policy.

Disposal (WEEE & Battery Law):
Waste electrical and electronic equipment and the batteries they contain must not be disposed of with household waste (crossed-out wheeled bin symbol). At the end of its life, hand in the headset at a municipal collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment. The permanently installed lithium-ion battery will be professionally removed and recycled there.

Special Notes on Air Purification:
The filters remove 99% of ultrafine particles (0.1 µm), viruses, and exhaust gases from urban air. Actual performance may vary depending on the environment and duration of use. The visor should be cleaned regularly to ensure optimal hygiene.
